Caring for the orphaned and other needy children in Kenya is inclined more on local communities, the growing middle class, institutions in Kenya, alongside government’s efforts and initiatives. Despite being the efforts of responsible, able and willing Kenyans, Foreign sponsoring is still very welcome in assisting needy children.
Companies are spearheading sponsorship and aiding of projects. This is not only out of goodhearted management, but also because a company that sponsors shows social commitment and a solemn means to market their products too.
Blessed Generation receives contributions from KLM-Kenya Airways, Barclays, Nakumatt and other big companies. But we are equally grateful to donations from local shops. From 7-to-7-supermarket Malindi where we can put collecting boxes to African Pearl hotel, where BG teachers can have their training sessions at no charges. And many other local retailers.
Be welcome to sponsor our children, the BG-schools and the other BG-projects. You can contribute to our running expenses, or finance a project like class room renovations or school books. Distribution of goods (like tooth paste, pads, pencils, cleaning utensils, clothes), or discounts on your products.
And if for now, you just would like to get to know us, you are welcome too.
